Smooth Smoothies

My favorite thing in the entire world is to make homemade jamba juice at home! It soo yummy and so simple and only takes some key things. I make mine different than the actualbstore because I dont use a sorbet base in mine and they are different from Dicks ever so favorite milkshakes because they are dairy free. I’ve actually convinced myself that my preferred breakfast and snack is healthier because 90% fresh flash frozen fruit!!

So here is what you will need for the Ms. Hollywood smoothies:
-a blender
-1 cup frozen fruit (of your choice)
-1 1/2 cups juice (oj is my favorite)
Dump all ingredients into blender and blend until smooth! If the smoothies is having a hard time blending, add more juice as needed.

Some other variations can be made by getting different frozen fruit mixes which also make for more and exciting flavors. Frozen fruits usually come in a variety pack with strawberries, mangos, and pineapples,  or my antioxidant rich favorite with the wild berry mix! Most stores will sell your favorite frozen fruit individually so you can mix your ratios as you please! Also try throwing in a fresh banana or a cup of yogurt for other healthy benefits. When I want to super charge my smoothies I use juice purees such as Naked Juice.

For coffee lovers try this healthy twist on a frappe:
-1 cup chilled coffee
-1/2 cup of your favorite flavored creamer or vanilla yogurt
-chocolate or caramel syrup to taste
-1 cup crushed ice
Blend until smooth and enjoy!!
